Karen Kingsbury

Bodie Thoene is my favorite. I also love fiction or non-fiction in which the characters question the status quo, especially when they have to choose between acceptance and conscience or safety and conscience. I strongly dislike fiction that alludes to that struggle of status quo in the review but barely mentions it in the actual story and is really only drama or romance.
Amish fiction

I would love to see more Christian Young Adult (YA) novels here.
more suspence and mysteries
Karen Kingsbury is my absolute favourite with Debbie Macomber right behind. There are many, many more I enjoy but don't care for the Amish type which seem to be flooding the market lately.

More historical, less Amish, please.
Julie Lessman most definitely! I don't think I've ever loved an author more than her. Except maybe Margaret Mitchell 🙂 But that's a close one. I also like Deeanne Gist, Carmen Marcoux, Karen Kingsbury and Regina Doman.
